Italian Woman, Vincent van Gogh, 1887.
This project has been established through Cypherloom, a collective of 3D designers and artists. Who's aim is to research the value of 3D art and visualisation within the art and fashion Industry.
for this commission we decided to take the painting 'Italian Woman' and create a 3d animation by using Clo3D, Blender and Daz3d. The aim was to create a modern vision on how this woman, named Agostina Segatori, would have looked like in our time. a modern life painting version. as an homage to Vincent van Gogh himself and the letter he wrote to her during the time of his relationship with her.
the final piece has been showcased at Museum Nacht on the 4th November 2023, in the Vincent van Gogh Museum.
